The project activity will convert two General Electric 6FA gas turbines currently operating in open cycle mode to combined cycle. This will involve the installation of two heat recovery steam generating boilers which utilise the waste heat from the gas turbine to raise steam. The steam will be used to generate electricity using an associated steam turbine of 68 MW capacity.
